Editorial Policy
Published October 14, 2026
The archive's standard is to make the claim no broader than the evidence and to keep historical reporting distinct from musical interpretation.
Source hierarchy
Use official award records for award categories and results, institutional event pages for the events they document, and release credits for named contributions. Catalog databases and music publications provide supplementary information and critical context. Secondary biographies are starting points that should lead toward the original references, especially for contested or unusually precise claims.
Community concert histories can identify research leads. They should not automatically establish completed appearances, an entire itinerary, or attendance at every advertised date. A dated official record or credible post-event account can provide stronger support.
Precise categories
Name the chart, territory, and type of release when describing a milestone. Do not treat certification as a worldwide sales total. Distinguish a nomination from a win, a collaborative album from a solo release, an announced project from a released one, and an early lineup from the membership credited on an album.
For fashion, distinguish an outfit, an advertisement, a product collaboration, and an endorsement agreement. For performance history, distinguish headlining, supporting, guest participation, advertised involvement, and actual appearance.
Interpretation and firsthand claims
Writing about cadence, arrangement, persona, and style is editorial interpretation. It should identify the musical or visual relationship being discussed rather than invent an artist's intent. This edition does not claim interviews, private access, attended concerts, or access to original medical records.
AI and visual disclosure
AI tools assisted with text preparation, code, and original illustrations. Human publication decisions remain necessary before deployment. AI output is not an authority source. Conceptual images carry captions stating that they are generated and do not document a historical event. Original lyrics and copyrighted album artwork are not reproduced.
Corrections
A correction should identify the URL, the passage, the proposed change, and a supporting source. Verify whether the evidence establishes the exact claim at issue. A correction that changes a chart category or release status should update the relevant body text, summary box, table, metadata, and structured data together.
Substantive factual changes should receive a visible correction note and an updated modification date. Minor punctuation or formatting repairs do not need to be described as newly reported information. A disagreement with an evaluative reading may merit clarification rather than a factual correction.
Independence and links
The publication states its unaffiliated status. Links should help verify a claim or provide a plainly relevant reader resource. They must not be used as evidence of an artist endorsement when no such evidence exists. Paid or affiliate relationships, if introduced, should be disclosed near the relevant content.
Publication history and maintenance
The project began in 2026. Dates reflect this edition's actual preparation rather than a fabricated earlier archive. The presence of a source link does not guarantee that the destination will remain available. Broken citations should be replaced with a traceable record or the associated claim should be narrowed.
The contact page provides a local correction-draft worksheet and clearly states its lack of automatic delivery. This policy describes the editorial procedure; it does not promise a response channel that the delivered site does not provide.
