Independent archive / Editorial information
Terms of Service
Effective October 14, 2026
These terms explain the use of the independent Foxy Brown Archive, its editorial material, and its local inquiry-draft tool.
What the website provides
The archive provides music-history information, source links, and editorial interpretation. It is not an official artist service, a booking agent, a retailer, a membership organization, or a medical or legal service. Access to this edition does not create an account, subscription, purchasing relationship, or guarantee of personal assistance.
Acceptable use
You may read the pages, follow the source links, and use the contact worksheet for a legitimate inquiry draft. Do not use the site to impersonate the artist or the publication, misrepresent its statements as official endorsements, distribute malicious code, or claim that a local download was a successfully delivered message. Do not submit unnecessary private information about another person through a future delivery channel.
Editorial material and intellectual property
The site's original editorial text, design, and supplied illustrations belong to their respective rights holders. Artist names, song and album titles, trademarks, and referenced publications remain associated with their respective owners. A reference to them does not transfer rights or establish affiliation.
You may link to the archive and use lawful quotations with appropriate attribution. These terms do not grant rights to reproduce complete songs, recordings, lyrics, third-party photographs, or album artwork. Rights questions should identify the specific material and the basis of the concern using the process described on the contact page.
Accuracy and interpretation
The archive distinguishes facts from interpretation and links to supporting sources. Historical records can be incomplete, metadata can differ across editions, and external pages can change. No statement guarantees that the site is exhaustive or that every public record is free from error. A substantiated correction should be evaluated under the editorial policy.
Musical assessments are editorial opinions. A description of a performed persona is not a finding about private conduct. A venue's historical importance does not establish a specific artist booking without separate evidence.
Inquiry-draft tool
The form generates a text file locally in your browser. You are responsible for the entries and what you do with the resulting file. This edition does not include a message-delivery endpoint or promise editorial receipt. A download confirms only that a draft was generated, not that it was sent, reviewed, or accepted.
External resources
Third-party links are provided for sources or relevant reader interests. Those sites operate independently and may have different terms, availability, and privacy practices. Inclusion does not guarantee their information or imply endorsement by Foxy Brown. Any future paid placement or affiliate arrangement should be disclosed where it appears.
Availability and limitations
The site and its features may be revised, interrupted, or removed. External resources, browser behavior, and hosting configuration can affect availability. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the publication does not promise uninterrupted access or accept responsibility for losses caused solely by reliance on incomplete historical information or independent third-party services. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
No invented jurisdiction or contractual identity
This edition does not claim a corporate registration, a public office address, or a governing jurisdiction that has not been supplied by its operator. Questions about a particular legal right or dispute require the actual facts and applicable law; this page does not resolve them.
Related policies
The privacy policy describes the delivered code's data handling, the disclaimer states the archive's independence and reporting limits, and the editorial policy explains source and correction standards. Material changes should carry an updated effective date.
